Smelly flip flops?

So I%26#039;m a fresh college student who had never worn flip flop and I was told I needed them for showers and what not. I%26#039;m also much taller than average therfore my shoes had to be custom made and ordered online. I%26#039;ve taken a liken to my flip flops, and I don%26#039;t want to get rid of them. However, recently they have gotten this unbearable stench. It even makes my feet smell bad. To reitterate, I have big feet. For me, its not as simple as going to the mall and buying new ones. It will take a while to order new shoes. Is there any possible way that I can have nice smelling flip flops without getting rid of them?


Someone told me to put them in the washing machine and that failed, as well as using frabreeze.

soak them in bleach for a few ........try springling some deodorant powder on them ( this would also help your stay fresh too) .....make sure your feet are clean.
Reply:I suppose it depends what material they are... hopefully they%26#039;re not foam or they will just become very dirty! I would try soaking them in oxy-clean or sweet-tea... i heard it on opera lol.

put shoes in a zip lock bag with some Bsoda....make sure shoes are DRY
